About The Forum
Forum of Commissioners of Finance of Nigeria

The operational location, address and headquarters of The Forum is the Federal Ministry of Finance, off Ahmadu Bello Way, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.
Vision
The Vision of the Forum is to provide a prime platform for unity, cooperation and purposefulness for Commissioners of Finance of the 36 States of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Director of Finance of Federal Capital Territory Administration(FCTA).
Our Motto:

The mandate of The Forum is to promote unity, mutual help and spirit of co-operation amongst members who are the respective Commissioners of Finance of the 36 States of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Director of Finance of Federal Capital Territory Administration(FCTA).
The Forum meets once a month, every month.
All 36 commissioners of State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria are typically in attendance.
Our Aims and Objectives
To Forge a Common Goal
The Forum aims to bring members together to forge a common goal particularly in order to influence decisions and actions of FAAC for the common benefits of the 36 States and the Federation of Nigeria;
To Improve Decision Making
Serve as catalyst for members’ enhanced participation in decision making and other processes of the FAAC meetings;
Encouraging Innovation
Complement the efforts of the FAAC; to organize seminars, workshops, lectures and conferences aimed at promoting and encouraging innovation, merit and discipline;
Why we exist
To Partner with FAAC
Partner with FAAC and other relevant bodiesfor the prompt consideration of fiscal and financial maters as they affect disbursement of funds to the respective States of the Federation and the FCT as entrenched under relevant laws.
Promoting Member Well-being
Promote the well being of members and support one and another toward the meeting of their aspirations.
Organizing Social Functions for Members
Organize social functions that shall further cement relationship and establish social foundations that shall be building blocks for other national services.
